Croissants and Brioches
Croissants
These are freshly baked every day which makes for a very thin crispy flaky crust
and a doughy inside which pulls apart.
Croissants
Our croissants are made from unbleached organic white wheat flour,
organic butter, sugar, salt, wheat sourdough culture and yeast and are hand rolled. Their colour
is dark and rich; they are crisp, flaky and pull apart deliciously. |
Pains au Chocolat
Using the same croissant dough recipe, the pains au chocolat contain a
ample amount of organic chocolate |
Croissants aux Amandes
Starting with the same recipe as the plain croissants, these are
generously filled and spread with frangipan and scattered with flaked almonds. |
Pains au Chocolat aux Amandes
These are even richer than the croissants aux amandes, they are made
in the same way only we start with the pains au chocolat so they are chocolately as well
as almondy. |
Brioches
Luxurious, buttery sweet rich yeasted bread. A treat for a special
breakfast or tea. Alternatively it is particularly good with mushrooms , pate, or foie gras.
It is made in different shapes and sizes:
Parisienne Brioche
Parisienne is round with a knob on top.

Bordelaise Brioche
Bordelaise is oblong with six knobs.

Fruit Brioche
small and flat, with apple, pear, berries (according to season). |
Chocolate Brioche
Chocolate brioche is spherical and studded with chocolate chips. |

Quiches, cakes or tarts in larger sizes can be ordered in advance. We can make you something special, a cheesecake, a chocolate birthday cake or a Victoria sponge filled with cream and raspberries. We also make petits fours and petits fours sales to order |
